My Reserva is something truly special that shows the best that Portugal has to offer. It brings a more complex and serious personality that will please even the most demanding drinkers. Having everyone's support at Naked and witnessing first-hand the positive feedback from Angels is the biggest motivation that I could ever ask for. My approach when making this wine was highly influenced by everything I learned from being part of Naked Wines.
I'm excited that I could squeeze three bottles of my Reserva into this box so that Angels will be able to enjoy their Galadoro for a little longer. It's the same quality as you would expect from a traditional glass bottle, but unlike a bottle, the wine is kept fresher, the flavours are more lasting, and its packaging produces up to 10 times less CO2.

It was very exciting for us to develop a Mediteranean gin just for Angels!
We have a small, artisan distillery and couldn’t have realized this project without the collaboration of Naked Wines and their Angels.
Our Rambla 41 gin has a fruity feel, with a fine creamy texture thanks to the herbs and almonds. Rambla 41 is non-chill filtered, so you might notice a slight cloudiness to the gin, which is completely harmless to drink, and only adds to the flavour!

The grapes have been ripened under the Argentinian sun, to develop all those intense, concentrated flavours, before some time in oak to give it a refined finish. Bright ruby red and full of elegant and rich red fruit including cherries and plums, it feels like velvet and tastes like heaven.

As Katie’s biggest fans will know, there’s a magic ingredient at the heart of her winemaking philosophy that makes her wines so great… old vines. So when it came to making her prize wine for winning Naked’s Winemaker of the Year in 2023, it was no surprise that she identified some of the oldest vineyards in Corbieres to be the star of the show.
In French slang, Les Galères means nightmares, or some kind of punishment or hard labour. It’s because the old bush vines can be so difficult to work for the growers. They’re so low and twisty that everyone ends up with backache and bruised knees. Many of these old vines get dug up. But the step up in quality they produce is off the scale. Which is why Katie is such a huge fan of them. And you will be too once you get a taste of this wine…
The nose of Katie’s Les Galères is just amazing, an explosion of ripe fruit, cherries, pomegranates, molasses, sweet violets. The palate is equally delicious, with the ripest, juicy red fruit you can imagine. It’s so deep in colour. The smooth tannins and good acidity give a great structure, setting it up nicely for food. Think grilled pork chops, barbecued sausages, anything fatty.

"When Naked asked me to make a delicious and affordable Aussie red, I knew just the wine for the job. A Shiraz with depth, intense fruit, and spice… with a hint of Viognier to give a touch of floral lift.
There are so many great vineyards surrounding us, but having a route to market has always been the key, which is why we’ve remained a small wine business. Your funding allows me to focus on what I’m good at (winemaking), and my husband to focus on what he’s good at (growing grapes and breeding cattle).
This is a wine with oodles of juicy dark red fruits – cherry, blackberry jam, and plum, with a hint of earth and oak. I'd suggest letting this wine chill out in the bottle a bit after its big journey overseas... one month ideally.
