We were thrilled when Naked agreed to support us with the money to create this new wine for Angels.
Merlot always is a great wine for food pairing, fresh and smooth, but all the time we are looking for a "special touch" in this case the Malbec brings a delicious velvety texture and juicy black fruit. This blend is a perfect example of the wine that we enjoy drinking in the evenings.

Ben sources the grapes from a large cooperative high in the Languedoc hills, so it's very sensibly priced indeed.
This needs to be drunk young and fresh. Do that and you will no doubt end up agreeing with the 90% of people who said they'd buy it again AND the seasoned tastebuds of the IWC judges in which this vintage just picked up a medal.

Think ripe black cherry with a hint of raspberry, a little bit of liquorice and a bundle of juicy sweetness in the centre finished off with a kick of black pepper and hey presto! The perfect Pinot.
Grab a leg of lamb, slow roast it for 12 hours, then serve with copious amounts of this. Stunning.
