The quintessential Australian blend, the grapes for this wine were sourced from premium vineyards in the up-and-coming Langhorne Creek region of South Australia. This area is renowned for producing award-winning, delicious and very drinkable wines. So when an opportunity arose to source these beautiful parcels of fruit, it was seized!
2018 will be long remembered for its low yields of high quality grapes which produced a notable collection of graceful, elegant wines. The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness to ensure no overripe characters crept into the finished product. The style of this wine is fresh, fruit forward and easy drinking - perfect for every day! With a generous, full flavour, the Mechanic Shiraz Cabernet offers layer upon layer of juicy fruit and outstanding length.

I've used grapes from three different vineyards, including one elevated site in the Strathbogie Ranges, to make my Rebel Merlot. Each parcel was handled, fermented and matured in oak separately from the others, before finally blending and bottling.
This is a special wine - I blended it with the Aussie Archangels! Along with the rest of my Rebel range this is a flavoursome wine with that typical Jen Pfeiffer "muscle" along with the softness and plushness that makes Merlot so appealing.
My Rebel Merlot has a beautiful ruby red, purple colour, with ripe plum and cherry flavours with a touch of mint. It's rich, rounded and smooth with a finish that will keep you coming back for more!

"When Naked asked me to make a delicious and affordable Aussie red, I knew just the wine for the job. A Shiraz with depth, intense fruit, and spice… with a hint of Viognier to give a touch of floral lift.
There are so many great vineyards surrounding us, but having a route to market has always been the key, which is why we’ve remained a small wine business. Your funding allows me to focus on what I’m good at (winemaking), and my husband to focus on what he’s good at (growing grapes and breeding cattle).
This is a wine with oodles of juicy dark red fruits – cherry, blackberry jam, and plum, with a hint of earth and oak. I'd suggest letting this wine chill out in the bottle a bit after its big journey overseas... one month ideally. Or if you can't wait that long, decanting will help all of the ripe, juicy delicious fruit to sing from the glass!"

Aussie superstar Adam Barton’s latest creation is a mouthwateringly fruity Sauvignon Blanc made using grapes from a prime single vineyard site in the historic Adelaide Hills.
Here’s what Adam says about the vineyard location, and why it really ramps up the flavours in this wine… “sourced from a vineyard near the town of Lobethal in the cool climate Adelaide Hills region, the Sauvignon Blanc is grown in sandy loam soils on east and south facing slopes resulting in grapes with aromatic fruit and fine acidity.”
On the nose it’s bright and aromatic, with hints of freshly cut grass and citrusy kaffir lime. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with ripe fruity flavours of melon, gooseberry, and honeysuckle, with fine acidity and a touch of minerality. It’s the perfect summery white to see in those long, sunny evenings, chilling out on the patio, even better if you pair it with a nice crispy, flaky fish fillet too. Yum!
