When Carlos first pushed this wine our way, we were so darned impressed, we immediately asked him to make six other wines exclusively for us. Yes siree folks, he really is that good.
This is classic Rioja. Smooth, creamy strawberry fruits, with a little touch of raspberry underneath, all wrapped up in a cloak of vanilla oak that makes the mouth quiver with anticipation. Stunning stuff.
You don't get many Rioja's at this kind of quality under a tenner. And when you do, you snap them up, just as we did.

Is this the richest white wine you'll ever taste? Quite possibly, thanks to it being 100% Viognier and packed to the rafters with delicious apricot and lemon fruit, all whirled around in a creamy mix that closes a stupendous variety act with a delicious, capricious zing.
And because you bought the grapes in the first place, it's very sensibly priced indeed.
This needs to be drunk young and fresh. Do that and you will no doubt end up agreeing with the 91% of people who said they'd buy it again.

You'd be forgiven for thinking we've got something against Spanish whites. We haven't. It's just really difficult to find a really nice one. But, after tasting a lot of frogs, we finally found this prince. Refreshingly crisp and light.
Frank Massard is our newest winemaker. In an attempt to impress us he offered us every last bottle of his medal-winning Herbis at a silly-low price. We quickly said 'yes'!
