Carménère has become, for many people, the emblematic grape for Chile. I want to show this variety in different styles, so I made this Carmenere with no oak. It is fresh and lighter, and hopefully will appeal to lots of Angels.
Naked wines has supported me, first by trusting in my abilities as a winemaker and secondly by providing the money that was needed to get my hands on the very best grapes.
The Carménère has spices and juicy black fruit. It is a very expressive wine, but with great softness. My favourite pairing is with pork ribs or empanadas.

The Cutler Sauvigon Blanc is made from vineyards in two parts of South Africa - Elim and Elgin. The grapes in Elim are grown at low altitude, but close to the sea where the coastal conditions cool the grapes and give a saline note that's typical of this area, whilst he Elgin vineyards are grown in the coolest climate in South Africa on shale and granite conditions which help to give the grapes a wonderful minerality. Both areas work together to show precise and focused flavours with great amounts of natural acidity.
I have made this wine from parcels usually reserved for more expensive wines. Luckily as I know the growers well, I have managed to secure them for a keen price so that the Angels can benefit from an excellent wine at a great price.
This wine is from a cooler climate, so you can expect more mineral, herbal and fern-like characters instead of the full on tropical fruit you might see in a New Zealand Sauvignon. As a Sauvignon it will drink beautifully in its youth and at any time of the year, by itself in the warmer months or with some autumnal and winter dishes (especially fish) when the weather is colder.

We love to do things a little left field and this is a blend we’d been talking about for a while! We were finally able to get our hands on some really great fruit and thought it would be a perfect fit for our eclectic A&R range.
Your faith in us and our ability is incredible, and it makes us want to work as hard as we can to bring them the best possible wines we can make. We’d never be given the opportunity to make a style like this if we were working anywhere else – it’s something most other winemakers only dream of!
Durif is a big, bold powerhouse variety and the Shiraz brings balance and structure, which together creates a well-rounded, full bodied, in-your-face kind of red. It’s still a very, very young wine and we highly recommend you decant, decant, decant. We’re really excited about it and can’t wait for you to try it.

I've used grapes from three different vineyards, including one elevated site in the Strathbogie Ranges, to make my Rebel Merlot. Each parcel was handled, fermented and matured in oak separately from the others, before finally blending and bottling.
This is a special wine - I blended it with the Aussie Archangels! Along with the rest of my Rebel range this is a flavoursome wine with that typical Jen Pfeiffer "muscle" along with the softness and plushness that makes Merlot so appealing.
My Rebel Merlot has a beautiful ruby red, purple colour, with ripe plum and cherry flavours with a touch of mint. It's rich, rounded and smooth with a finish that will keep you coming back for more!
