What the di Candilos don't know about Montepulciano really isn't worth knowing. This father and daughter duo live and breath Montpulciano d'Abruzzo on their family vineyard where they've been cultivating premium vines first planted by Mario's grandfather, and making the most exceptional Montepulciano to boot.
The juice in this bottle comes from those very same vines - deep ruby red in colour with rich aromas of violets and cocoa on the nose, you barely even need to drink it to become totally enthralled.
The palate is elegant with soft tannins, lots of jammy red berries and just the slightest touch of a cracked black peppery kick, giving this bottle the kind of length you'd expect from a drop double the price.

I often ride my mountain bike across our neighbour’s farm, and one vineyard has always intrigued me. After some investigation I learned that it was Pinotage. Pinotage isn’t my favourite grape, but being impressed with the beautiful berries, I asked to assist in the cellar during the making of the wine. It was love at first sight...
The funding from Naked enabled me to get involved in the winemaking and also to secure this lovely wine, making it possible for me to afford production and packaging to send this lovely wine to you, Angels!
The vineyards are situated on mid-altitude foothills in Stellenbosch, planted on clay soils, which makes the wine wonderfully opulent and rich. It’s silky soft, with delicious fruit driven flavours. Wild strawberries, generous raspberries, finished with a dollop of chocolate from the oak barrels.

Our wine guys at Naked USA challenged Juicy - the master of smooth, rich Aussie Shirazes - to make them an equally smooth, rich Cabernet Sauvignon anyone would enjoy, and the big fella delivered.
Unlike your classically bold, complex Cabernet Sauvignons, Juicy has produced a much more approachable everyday style. The fruit is fresh and bright, and the nose has a pretty mix of floral, herby aromas, with lots of rich blackcurrant. On the palate those floral and fruity flavours linger on the tongue, coating it in creamy loveliness.
If you’re ever stuck for a wine to take round a friend’s house on a Wednesday evening, this is that wine. It’s a nailed-on crowd-pleaser, with or without food. Pair it with a big pizza or pasta with ragu sauce, you’ll be in heaven.

My family have been making wine from our family estate in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for generations.
My Bois de la Garde is a smooth and elegant wine from the Southern Rhône. The vines are just across the road from the Châteauneuf du Pape designated appellation (same soil, just situated on the wrong side of the tracks as it were)!
Thanks to Angel funding, we will be able to bottle a bigger volume of this wine, so that finally, more people will get to experience it. It's a real little Southern Rhône charmer, and I hope you enjoy it!

Tao Platon is a man on a mission to save many of Rioja Alavesa’s unique vineyards from being sold off, and he’s doing it by championing the authentic, high quality wines the region is famous for. The cooler climes, older vines and limestone soils in this most northerly part of Rioja produce fresh, gastronomic reds of fine wine quality like this Tempranillo.
If you prefer your Riojas fresh and juicy, with nary a sniff of oak, you'll love this. On the nose it's fantastic, with lots of pure, ripe berry fruit. Think juicy cranberries, raspberries, cherries... all the tastes of summer. The fruit follows through on the palate with great acidity and a vibrant mouthfeel.
We’re really excited to have Tao on board, taking our Rioja range into world-class territory.
