L’Estel is one of the very first wines Núria and Rafael made when they set up back in 2010, using fruit sourced from Núria’s own winemaker father. Since then she’s sought out and added top-quality grapes from old vines among her own vineyards and around the local region, to produce a wine of stunning complexity and balance.
As gently as possible to avoid damage to the fruit, Núria hand picks, sorts and crushes her best grapes for this rich and powerful red. It’s loaded with buckets of ripe, juicy plums and red berries with a smooth, velvety, melt-in-your-mouth texture from ageing in posh oak.
This full-bodied wine delivers tons of depth and complexity with lush damsons and licorice combining with the oak to produce a real heart-warmer. It’s perfect for a barbecued beef steak at the height of summer or a rich porky stew in the depths of winter.

Nina’s Brave Goose Vineyard is tucked away in the foothills of the Tallarook ranges in Central Victoria and the grapes for this wine are from the vineyard that her parents planted over 30 years ago in 1987!
Nina had an inkling that the elegant and aromatic fruit would be perfect for barrel fermentation. So she carefully hand-picked and delicately pressed the grapes to bring Angels this complex and refined wine.
In her own words 'In many ways this is the perfect white. It’s not as sharp or acidic as a Pinot Grigio, or as buttery and overpowering as a Chardonnay. It’s vibrant, elegant and refined, with lovely apricot, orange blossom, peach and lemon notes.” We couldn't have put it better ourselves, Nina.

With a top draw parcel of Pinot Noir grapes in hand, our Ben Darnault had a light bulb moment. These were the perfect grapes to make his Angels a brand new, premium Cremant Rose to add some well deserved jubilance to your wine racks.
Cremant de Bourgogne is produced in Burgundy, just south of its famous bubbly big sister, Champagne. It may not have the famous title but Cremant certainly shares the luxurious depth of flavour - especially when you've got a winemaker like Ben at the helm with plenty of premium Pinot Noir grapes at his disposal.
This is Ben's first Cremant Rose and it certainly doesn't disappoint. Full of creamy raspberry flavours, ripe summer strawberries, and a delightfully refined freshness and length, this is a bottle of fizz to savour... you'll definitely have difficulty sharing.

Macon Uchizy is one of the lesser known whites from Burgundy, but that's good news, because it means it doesn't cost as much as some of its pricier bedfellows from the region and therefore delivers great value.
If you are a Chablis lover then this is one for you. It's a bone dry Chardonnay with a lovely minerality and a nice zing to the finish.
It's a great partner for shellfish, but equally brilliant with more meaty fish dishes, such as monkfish or tuna.

Arco was on the point of going bust in 2020 when the SA wine industry was hit by Covid, just as he was recovering from a battle with cancer. Thankfully, our very own Johan Kruger put him in touch with us, and Angel support helped keep him afloat. Arco’s now sourced and blended this super-premium wine to pay you back while helping out some of his winemaker mates who’ve also been hit hard by Covid.
This juice would normally end up in a famously posh boutique wine that we’ve sworn not to mention (it’s a doozy) but because of South Africa’s lockdowns and bans, it was sitting unsold in tanks. Arco’s emptied the tanks to bring this first-class wine to you while putting some money back in the bank for his mates.
This is a lovely well-rounded Cabernet Sauvignon from one of the warmer regions in South Africa. It’s created a wine that on the nose exudes blackberry notes as well as some eucalyptus and sweet spice. The mouthfeel is full and robust with silky soft tannins and flavours of cherry, plums and dark chocolate. Yummy.

Virgile is a bit of a genius as far as we are concerned. He takes good grapes and turns them into great wine, then sells it to us at a ridiculously low price which benefits us, and, wonderfully, you too!
This is classic Southern French blend, so a lot of chunkiness from the Shiraz along with some delicious plum duff fruits - a kick of redcurrant from the Grenache helps it along the way and a slice of spice rounds it all off.
Steak. Big, bloody and ready for annihilation.
