No winemaking tricks here... armed with your funding, I was able to select the very best damn fruit I've ever seen, harvested in the cool of the night and gently pressed to preserve those classic Sauvignon Blanc characters.
The result is elegant yet complex. Powerful yet poised. An explosion of ripe tropical fruit including guava, blackcurrant, lime zest and pink grapefruit. All beautifully wrapped in that classic Marlborough zing which makes it so refreshingly drinkable.
It's a single vineyard Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc sourced from one of the most highly sought after blocks in the region. I reckon it's the best Sauvignon Blanc I've made in my 15 year career. And I've made some crackers!

Over the years at Moerbei Estate we've grown consistantly excellent quality Pinotage, but all of it was sold to boutique wineries nearby. We decided to take our fruit back and demonstrate to Angels how delicious this hidden jewel can be.
Naked Wines gave us the confidence to do our first bottling with about £20,000 of work in progress funding. They believed in the quality we produced at Moerbei Wines, and once we gave them a glimpse of the Redridge Pinotage they instantly fell in love with it.
The Redridge Pinotage is a full-bodied wine, with a lively dark ruby hue. The wine holds flavors of ripe plums, cherries, chocolate and a slight scent of dried banana. On the palate, the wine is wrapped in a silky mouth-feel of black cherries. This wine is a truly South African cultivar and it would compete with the best Pinotage in South Africa.

My Delle Venezie has a nice freshness and minerality thanks to the soil. But in the meantime it tastes round and fruity from perfect fruit ripeness. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
