Charles and Ruth's first Angel-funded English Sparkling Rosé
- We love sparkling Rosé and given how successful our Simpsons of Servian Sparkling Rosé has been over the years, we thought we would introduce the Naked Angels to taste this exceptional pink English fizz!
- Pinot Noir grapes from our Roman Road vineyard site were carefully hand-picked and gently whole-bunch pressed to make this delicately pink fizz, with a fine mousse and a soft, rose petal and fresh strawberry sorbet nose. It has a creamy, rounded texture with crisp red berry flavours and a refined finish.
- This sparkling Rosé is a fabulous celebratory drink, making every event a special one! Thank you Angels for supporting the dynamic English wine industry by enjoying this homegrown product. Your support has helped us fund the ongoing winemaking and the expensive process of getting these wines into bottle.

Meet the winemaker - Charles and Ruth Simpson
- In 2002, Charles & Ruth took a leap into the unknown. They quit their dull, corporate jobs. Hopped on the first plane to France. And bought up their own little patch of grape-growing land in Southern France.
- It turned out to be an inspired move. Since then their delicious, Angel-exclusive wines haven’t stopped scooping IWC and Decanter World Wine Awards and rave reviews from wine-critic royalty.
- Not content to rest on their laurels in France, they set their sights on another opportunity, making English wine in Blighty. Your backing also gave them the confidence to do just that! In 2014 they returned to their roots and planted their first English vineyard near Canterbury.
