Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Angels voted in their thousands for this full-throttle, unashamedly rich and buttery Chardonnay
- I had the opportunity to create this wine with Brass Tacks proprietor, Daniel LeFrancois, a good friend of mine. Daniel is a veteran in the wine industry so with our collective experience, we created a true reflection of California Chardonnay.
- Working with the Angels and Naked Wines was a wish fulfilled. It was your votes and support that granted us the opportunity to source fruit from premier California regions. This granted us the ability to put more focus on the winemaking process and produce a wine that we are excited and proud to present to you.
- This sexy, voluptuous wine answers your palate's thirst for an oaked and buttery Chardonnay. Ripe, juicy tropical flavors on the lush palate are accented by creamy notes of vanilla and caramel. I truly can't thank the Angels enough for making this wine possible. Your support is what keeps independent winemakers like me going.

Serving advice
Served chilled between 10-12°C. We recommend pouring a glass and letting it rest for a few minutes before the first sip, allowing the flavors to open.
Food match
The tropical notes and buttery style make Chardonnay a delicious pairing for white sauce pastas, fish, poultry, and mushroom sauces.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
- Scott was an integral part of the Kendall-Jackson winemaking team, defining California Chardonnay in the 90s. That Cali Chardonnay style known all over the world as unctuous, ripe, full-throttled.
- He loves working with Angel funding because you let him make the wines he wants to in the way he wants to make them. He's all about old school California and he doesn't want to make a new style of wine just because it's fashionable.
- If you like gloriously rich Californian wine that takes no prisoners, go and buy a bottle (or three) of Scott's wine. You will not regret it.
