Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Oregon's answer to Burgundy's finest
-
Scott Kelley carefully selects a mix of Pinot Noir clones (different families of the same grape) to craft this elegant Chehalem Mountains Pinot. The result is a silky, finely layered wine that can hold its own against Burgundy.
-
On the nose, ripe raspberry and cherry lead the way, with hints of spice and oak. The palate is vibrant, with mouthwatering acidity and a long finish. In 10-15 years, it could soften into something more savoury and complex – truffle, dried fruits, earthy spice. We can only imagine… because patience has never been our strong suit.
-
Scott (ever the fisherman) swears by cedar-plank smoked salmon as the ultimate pairing. The wine’s bright fruit and spice compliment the smokiness of the cedar, while the acidity cuts through the rich fish oils. Add some charred veggies on the side and you’ve got Pinot Noir perfection.
