About the wine
.
- Torrontes to Argentina is like Sauvignon Blanc to New Zealand. Incredibly floral and fruity, yet bone dry. Zippy, refreshing and light, it's one of the country's finest exports.
- You wouldn't eat chips without salt. So in turn we reckon you shouldn't picnic these days without a bottle of Torrontes!
- Coronation chicken, a nice bit of quiche, cold pork sausages or even a Scotch egg or two, this wine embraces them all with gusto.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Patricio Gouguenheim
- Back in the 1990s, Patricio had a hunch. And so he gave up his prosperous career as a city banker and spent his life savings on an old vineyard. Luckily his hunch was right.
- Mendoza is the head of Argentina's wine-making country. Very hot days and very cool nights mean buckets of refined, ripe fruit. It's what Argentina does best.
- One of our original winemakers, Patricio supported us at the beginning. And now we support him. And with all that history, he's kindly kept resisting any price hikes.
