About the wine
Kieron's berry-bursting sparkling rosé brings premium English fizz to the masses
-
Kieron firmly believes world-class English wine should be for all. Thanks to Angel funding and tank fermentation (Prosecco style), he’s delivered a premium pink fizz that brings the best of British fruit to your glass for just £14.99.
-
Expect a crush of fresh redcurrants, damsons, strawberries, and raspberries – with crisp, refreshing bubbles that leave you craving another sip. It’s basically bottled sunshine for stolen afternoons.
-
Built for both big celebrations and entirely unplanned Friday nights in the garden, you’re going to want a bottle of this permanently chilling in your fridge all summer. Oh and if you’re feeling peckish, pair its bright acidity with hard cheeses and fresh salads.

Both my sparkling wines are made for good times. They shine as an aperitif, at celebrations, with canapés, or even as your morning fizz on Christmas Day. They're also great for summer picnics and barbecues: pairing naturally with salads, seafood like langoustine or prawns and hard cheeses.

Meet the winemaker - Kieron Atkinson
-
Angels have been asking us to scout out more English winemakers for as long as we can remember. But we never expected to find one in Derbyshire of all places!
-
Kieron Atkinson has been quietly making award-winning English wines in Derbyshire for over a decade as chief winemaker at the historic Renishaw Hall, once thought to be the most northerly vineyard in the whole world. In 2011, he founded his very own English Wine Project to help raise the profile and quality of wines across the land. His aim is to put England on the map as a country that can produce wines that are up there with some of the best in the world.
-
Above all, he’s a really thoughtful, intelligent guy and the quality of his wines is superb. His winery is based in an old cotton mill in the Derwent Valley, in the middle of Derbyshire. But he also travels up and down the country as a consultant, helping other winemakers make their wines better too. It’s all part of his mission to champion the best of English wine. It’s so great to be working with an exciting new English winemaker like Kieron. And he’s so chuffed to be on board and is looking forward to hooking up with Angels.
