Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
The Aussie Shiraz your BBQ's been thirsting for
-
Langhorne Creek might not be a household name (yet), but it’s quietly cranking out some of the juiciest, most generous Shiraz in the country. This one’s made from low-yielding old vines and seriously punches above its postcode.
-
Lush plum, blackberry and spice come wrapped in soft tannins. It’s outrageously drinkable yet full-bodied – built to handle smoky ribs, chargrilled sausages and all things flame-licked.
-
Crafted by Hamish Maguire – a bloke who’s been in the vines since he was knee-high – this is big, bold Aussie red done right.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Hamish Maguire
- Hamish has been working in vineyards since he was old enough to pick up a spade. His father was a Winemaker so Hamish and his brothers spent much of their youth pulling weeds and training young vines.
- Decades later and his weed pulling experience looks has stood him in pretty good stead. Hamish now runs his own winery in Australia's prestigious McLaren Vale, which Hamish (and a fair few of you would agree) has dubbed one of the best wine regions in the world.
- Tasty, juicy and balanced are the key criteria for every last drop of Hamish's wines. Working predominantly with McLaren's Shiraz and Grenache grapes, you can rely on Hamish to pull powerful and outrageously delicious big reds out of the bag time after time.
