About the wine
Smooth and sumptuous Crianza from Navarra
- This wine is halfway between a classical Crianza and a more modern style. David can’t resist putting his little twist on this delicious wine.
- Chock full of ripe blackcurrants, black cherries and bramble fruit with a touch of subtle sweet spices like vanilla, cloves and cinnamon from the 12 months spent ageing in oak.
- David pairs this wine with your Sunday roast beef. Rich, complex and elegant, it will take that special Sunday lunch to the next level.

Serving advice
Our origins are linked to the job of a waiter. David Seijas grew up in his parents' village restaurant in Seva, where, at a very young age, he remembers carrying a wine opener in his pocket and pretending to be a sommelier.
If today you feel like putting on your sommelier's apron, the liturgy of the wine service recommends tasting it between 16 and 18 °C with a glass such as a Riedel Vinum Tempranillo, or similar. However, Ziga-Zaga Wines team will be very pleased if you enjoy it with what, when and however you choose.

Go Vegan with Gazpacho! Also pairs with Estofado de rabo de toro for local cuisine.
This is very well known dish from Spanish cuisine, very popular in AndalucÃa as well as in other regions such as Navarra. This meal has a gelatinous texture so a recommended pairing is a wine with some tannins and spices (oaked) together with fruit, good acidity, to help clean our palate from this unctuous feeling. This is a meal that normally is cooked with wine, which in our case it would be ideal if it could be cooked with our Picamaderos!
International cuisine pairing: Roast Beef
This is again a congruent wine pairing. This is a dish for a special day, a little bit like our wine. Beef meat is fine, complex and elegant, and itÂ’s cooked for a long time, like a crianza. The animal protein goes well with a slightly spiced wine, in this case because of tertiary notes of the American oak barrels. ItÂ’s a very Mediterranean Crianza, with notes of aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary, etc) and at the same time with good acidity and dark fruit, which always helps to exalt a dish.
