About the beer
The idea for this beer sparked when Brett and Andrew sat down for coffee in Edinburgh on a cold January afternoon. Along with a black coffee Andrew ordered a slice of Millionaire’s Shortbread. The combination of salted caramel, dark chocolate, biscuit base and the bitter coffee were intensely satisfying. So he and Brett set about de-constructing the favours to rebuild them into a beer.
This beer is the king of chocolate stouts, the perfect balance of rich and refreshing. Even if you're not usually a dark beer drinker this one's not to be missed.
I'll happily drink this instead of having a pudding but it's obviously an excellent match for an oozy chocolate fondant or even a decedent venison dish.
