About the beer
Welcome to Tempest where Gavin, head-brewer and all round beer nerd, is serious enough about amazing beer to have a favourite yeast strain - Vermont!
This brew is gloriously grassy with loads of herbal hop notes that make it oh-so-refreshing. It's a big juicy IPA with Tempest's trademark body and balance.
This beer will reward your culinary prowess and, though it's amazing with fresh, spicy flavours, I think it's at it's best when paired with seared tuna and mango salsa.

- As a chef, Gavin was obsessed with brewing beers that were as delicious and complex as his food.
- Since they started brewing commercially in 2010 Tempest have been raking in the awards including Best IPA for Long White Cloud in the Scottish Beer Awards.
- Tempest are an experimental bunch - they've even made a beer with oysters which they shucked by hand.
