Tornesi Rosso di Montalcino 2020
Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Straight from the heart of Tuscany comes a sumptuous red for Italophiles everywhere
- The history of the Tornesi family in Montalcino dates back to 1865 and every member has been born on the Benducce site since then. Wine is part of their heritage, and today’s generation continue to fly the flag with gusto!
-
This Rosso di Montalcino comes from the same quality vineyards as uber-expensive Brunello, it’s simply younger, fresher, and overflowing with luscious fruity flavour. Getting our hands on this beauty is a cause for celebration.
-
Grown organically, carefully hand harvested, and matured in large, Slavonian oak ‘botti’. The resulting wine is beautifully perfumed with a mix of violets, red berries and truffles and is a silky, juicy, full-bodied bottle of goodness.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Maurizio Tornesi
Maurizio’s family has been in the business since 1865 and he is so proud to carry on their tradition of showcasing Italian grapes at their best.
Recently joined by his daughter, Elisa, this is one dynamic duo and they are very excited to share classic Sangiovese flavours with Angels.
Their passion for their wines is palpable and, with family at the heart of everything they do, we just know they are going to be a hit.
