Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Your dream southern French rosé
-
Charles and Ruth’s pale pink rosé is as elegant and refreshing as anything from Provence. Even better – it’s made in the Languedoc! Where the sun shines just as bright but the price tags don’t go to your head.
-
Crafted with early-picked Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre from their cooler vineyards (to make it fresher, cleaner and crisper) this one’s all strawberries, cherries and floral hints, and scandalously easy to sip.
-
Designed for poolside lunches and terrace toasts – without the ‘Provence premium’. We’ll say santé to that.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Charles and Ruth Simpson
- In 2002, Charles & Ruth took a leap into the unknown. They quit their dull, corporate jobs. Hopped on the first plane to France. And bought up their own little patch of grape-growing land in Southern France.
- It turned out to be an inspired move. Since then their delicious, Angel-exclusive wines haven’t stopped scooping IWC and Decanter World Wine Awards and rave reviews from wine-critic royalty.
- Not content to rest on their laurels in France, they set their sights on another opportunity, making English wine in Blighty. Your backing also gave them the confidence to do just that! In 2014 they returned to their roots and planted their first English vineyard near Canterbury.
