Roblin Sancerre Rouge Origine 2020
Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Our Sancerre siblings have turned their hands to Pinot Noir
- Say the word ‘Sancerre’ and people immediately think of seriously plush white wines but historically it was the reds that ruled the roost, with Pinot Noir dominating the landscape.
- The Roblin brothers wanted to make a wine that showcased the Sancerre of yesteryear; that is fruity, fresh and punchy Pinot Noirs, so they set about doing just that.
- With heavenly aromas of black and Morello cherries, as well as a lick of almond, this red delivers everything it set out to do. Crack it open, savour all its fruity goodness and give a nod to Matthias and Emile for what was a truly inspired idea!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Matthias and Emile Roblin
- Two brothers making some of the finest Sancerre around - now exclusively for Angels
- This pair don't just turn grapes into wine, they are hands on in the vineyard for the growing process as well. They believe good winemaking starts in the vineyard, so they like to have control over every part of the process.
- Emile says- "We aim to produce fine, fruity and mineral wines. Pure wines which reflects their "terroir", while respecting the environment."
