Rambla 41 Vermouth
About the wine
Authentic Spanish Angel-funded vermouth from our man Stefan
- Our village is famous for its vermouth. It’s a gorgeous drink that we whip out at any excuse and I wanted you Angels to taste it too - your investment has made this whole thing entirely possible.
- Thanks to the local botanicals you get orange peel and elderflower on the nose. It's slightly sweet to start, with a deliciously complex palate of herbs and a bitter ending - a truly authentic experience that's ideal as an aperitif.
- My vermouth is non-chill filtered, so you might notice a slight cloudiness, or even tiny botanicals floating about. These are completely harmless to drink, and only add to the flavour!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stefan Lismond
- Belgian-born Stefan spent the first 15 years of his career in the wine business, before following his passion into the world of spirits... craft gin in particular.
- G&Ts are hot in Barcelona and fit perfectly the Spanish life style. Stefan saw a great opportunity to respond to this trend and make an outspoken Mediterranean gin for Barcelona. He and his friend Philippe, made their first batch of gin in March 2013… and he hasn’t looked back since!
- His Rambla gins have been distilled exclusively for Angels in Spain’s Priorat region – famous for its wine. They're based on the principle of 'terroir', unique in gin-making.
