To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A fresh and refined white wine from the 'Chablis of Italy'
Silvana and Camilla's make their flawlessly fresh and elegant Gavi del Comune di Gavi in true, traditional Piedmont style. They use only the very best hand selected Cortese grapes to craft a versatile, elegant wine that you can enjoy as a thirst quenching aperitif in the summer months, or as an effortless accompaniment for your favourite fish dishes. Either way, it's a high-quality crowd-pleaser that's guaranteed to get chins wagging.
If you want to taste Gavi in its purest, cleanest form, you're in the right place - in just a sip this wine perfectly encapsulates the delicate floral quality of the grape, which quickly transforms into bolder flavours of grapefruit, juicy pears and white peaches. It glides across the palate with a gentle creamy texture.
The native grape is a great representative of the surrounding Piedmont area. The warm Mediterranean sun beautifully ripens the fruit, so its mouth watering flavours shine through, and the snow capped nearby Alps not only provide a postcard perfect scene, but also ensure those crisp, round textures keep you reaching for another glass.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Silvana Aluigi and Camilla Gemme
- Camilla and Silvana are the mother-daughter winemaking team, who since 2015, have taken Piedmont by storm with their deliciously light and fruity white wines. They share the same vision for a fully female-run winery, with a mission to preserve ancient winemaking traditions, their heritage and the environment. Their winemaking philosophy starts in the vineyards, where they nurture the grapes from vine to bottle.
- Cortese is the grape variety used to produce Gavi di Gavi, and grown in a tiny area of Piedmont. Camilla and Silvana champion the slightly-off-the-beaten-track region - its soothing gentle sea breezes and salty air influences the wine's crisp and refreshing character.
- Camilla and Silvana are winemakers with vision. Thanks to support from their Angels, the pair have been able to dream bigger than ever before. They not only strive to craft the most expressive Gavi di Gavi but also to boost the profile of the region, often referred to as the 'Chablis of Italy'.
