With a proud tradition of making exceptional Shiraz, Kobie and Faisal combine the hallmark power and full-bodied fruitiness of South African Shiraz with a surprising elegance and finesse that you'd only expect to find in a Rhone Syrah. You quite literally get the best of both worlds.
A brooding ruby red in colour with an intriguing nose full of bright red cherries, this is a wine that simply blossoms on the palate. Starting with black berry fruit flavours, layered with peppery spice and sweet caramel, it slowly opens up to reveal an elegant spice that leads the way to a fabulous long finish.

Serve at 18-20°C. Open/Decant 1-2 hours before serving
Food match
I would suggest barbecue, especially spare ribs and/or braised beef. Leaner red meat, stew, and mildly spicy foods. Chicken, especially barbecued and braised as well as duck.

- So he decided to employ Kobie and make their own wines. After all everyone says 'all great wine is made in the vineyard!' After 10 years and numerous medals all their hard work has paid off, and they get the awards and not their neighbours!
