Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
The bright Portuguese white that shows up for every occasion (and snack)
-
Hermano Veloso’s gone and bottled pure sunshine – a vibrant blend of Fernão Pires, Arinto, Viosinho and Moscatel bursting with peach, pineapple and a hint of holiday mischief.
-
After touring the UK and meeting Angels in person, Hermano came home inspired to craft the perfect white for your taste buds – bright, juicy and impossibly moreish, with that dash of Moscatel to give it its signature aromatic lift.
-
Equally at home besides buttery scallops or a family pack of prawn cocktail crisps, it’s the kind of guaranteed crowd-pleaser that goes with any kind of Christmas chaos.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Hermano Veloso
- Hermano was discovered by some of our most dedicated members at the London International Wine Fair 2011 and his wines have taken pride of place on Angel wine racks ever since.
- Having been born and raised in the Portuguese wine industry, there is nothing this man doesn't know about how to get the best from the local grapes. In fact, his family have been working in Lisbon's wine and agriculture for generations, a tradition that Hermano was keen to continue... his first harvest was when he was only six years old!
- With his passion for Portuguese wines and drive to make top quality wines whilst keeping them great value for money, we couldn't wait to add him to the list of Naked winemakers
