Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
The light, vibrant South African red every foodie needs to know about
-
Cinsault has deep roots in South Africa, and in the right hands it delivers wines with bright, pure fruit and a real sense of place. This is the final vintage of Arco Laarman’s Focal Point version – and it’s a beauty.
-
“This wine reminds me a lot of myself," Arco once said. “You might expect a bold red… but really, it’s a softy.” It’s light, juicy and perfumed, bursting with red cherry, raspberry and cranberry, with a dusting of cinnamon and cedar spice.
-
Elegant, energetic and packed with flavour, this is a food-pairing dream. It plays just as nicely with flaky smoked salmon as it does with herby lamb koftas or a cosy winter stew.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Arco Laarman
-
We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Arco Laarman. Introduced to Naked through our tight-knit South African winemaking community, he was a much-loved member of our winemaking family, and his exceptional talent will never be forgotten.
-
A true original, Arco's passion for wine began in his teens. At just 19, he moved to the Cape, working three vintages with a top-tier winery. Quickly rising through the ranks, he established his own winery in 2016, seeking out unique parcels of grapes. Chardonnay was a favorite, but he loved his Cinsault and Syrah too.
-
We are so grateful to have known Arco and share his passion for wine. Please join us in sending our love to his family and friends, and in raising a glass to a wonderful man. He leaves behind an incredible legacy.
