Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
This Burgundian beauté might be THE perfect summer red
-
The Pidaults’ red comes from two vineyards at the heart of their estate, located halfway up a rocky hillside - it’s a dream parcel that’s been planted with vines since the 6th century.
-
Half of the grapes are picked from young vines, bringing elegance along with fresh and fruity notes of redcurrant, and subtle hints of violets. The other half come from old vines, to provide structure and a silky, easy-drinking mouthfeel.
-
Top tip - chilled a little… this Burgundian beauté is the perfect red for a glorious summer's day. It’s light, fresh and oh-so delicious, and will wash down a plate of cheese and crackers in record time.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Jean-Marie Pidault
The Pidault family have been making wine for many years but 2008 marked the start of a great adventure for them when they bought Chateau de Pierreclos. Things may have got off to a rocky start when a hail storm destroyed most of their first years harvest but the family bounced back and have been going strong ever since!
You can expect some stunning Burgundies from this Chard and Pinot-Noir loving family (we wouldn’t expect their fave varieties to be anything else!)
Jean Marie is so excited to join the Naked family and share the familys’ adventures with Angels. Just don’t ask him about the time he got stuck in a wine tank...upside down…!
