Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A pocket-sized AVA with a grand-cru attitude
-
Ribbon Ridge is Oregon’s smallest official wine region (AVA), but its ancient marine soils and sun-soaked microclimate have made its Pinot Noir stuff of legend among those in the know.
-
Chris sourced fruit from four vineyards across the ridge and handled them with real care. Blending sites from different elevations added layers of richness and freshness, and nearly two years resting in barrel gave the wine time to knit together, softening the tannins and building in a silky texture.
-
In the glass it’s all black cherries, raspberries, cocoa, sweet spice and a nice earthiness from the ridge’s unique soils. It’s the kind of Pinot that slips happily into almost any meal – even happier with grilled pork, wild mushroom risotto or a full-on roast turkey dinner.

Food match
This Pinot Noir could go with just about anything. However, my favourite recently is beef stroganoff with home grown Oyster mushrooms (or if in the fall wild picked Chanterelles). My all time favourite is a grilled pork tenderloin with a touch of curry powder and brown sugar served with root vegetable medley.
