Jock Harvey has turned the tide on how Australians approach their beloved Shiraz. For years, big blockbuster reds were the preferred tipple, but the McLaren Vale trailblazer demonstrates that South Australian Shiraz can be beautifully refined and elegant too. His efforts haven't gone unnoticed in top wine circles.
The previous vintage of Jock's Chalk Hill Luna Shiraz swooped in to take Gold at the prestigious Vienna International Wine Challenge, defeating some big name wines from around the globe. You can expect equally jaw dropping quality from his newest vintage which bears all the same balance, brightness and effortless McLaren Vale class.
A vibrant red in colour, this is an easy-drinking and devilishly smooth Shiraz full of lip-smacking dark fruits combined with a warming lick of spice and plush creamy walnut flavours. It's elegant with a long, velvety finish.
