What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.

Overflowing with boysenberry, cherry and fig flavours, with a whiff of cocoa and warm spice, this rich and velvety Shiraz will leave you reaching (greedily) for another glass.

Made from organically farmed vines in McLaren Vale – a hotspot for world-class Shiraz – this was fermented warm and pressed early to let the fruit shine. No harsh edges, just silky, plush goodness made with a light touch and plenty of know-how.

It’s ready to impress straight out the gate, but will only get better with age (don’t we all?). It loves a slow-cooked beef stew, or even something flaky and Cornish from the bakery.

Food match
Delicious with slow cooked foods, such as rich beef stew or peppery French lentil stew. Jock says it would also go great with a run to the bakery – for a chunky steak pie, veggie and cheese pasty, or even the Vanilla slice.
