Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A juicy, joy-filled red from the man who's tasted it all (and knows what's fun)
-
Naked’s old Wine Guy turned winemaker, Ray O’Connor, has bottled everything he knows about what Angels love into this gloriously juicy Garnacha. It’s soft, bright, and packed full of smooth red berry flavours that are guaranteed to make you smile.
-
Made from 50–70-year-old, organically grown vines in the sun-soaked hills of Cariñena, this is Garnacha at its freshest and most vibrant. The old vines yield fewer grapes but pack them with flavour, while the slightly higher altitude keeps everything cool and balanced with a mouthwatering acidity.
-
It’s bursting with ripe strawberries, cherries and raspberries, with a silky texture. Pure pleasure in a glass. Ray calls it his pizza wine – and really it’s perfect with anything yummy and comforting, from margherita to meatballs, mac n’ cheese or a midweek lasagne.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Ray O'Connor
-
For 10 years, Ray O’Connor was the man who travelled the world to find the world’s best wines for you Angels. During his time at Naked, he also became a Master of Wine – one of only a few hundred in the world. After leaving in early 2024 to “scratch a few itches,” Ray teased that it might not be goodbye forever. And he meant it.
-
Having tasted thousands of wines for Angels, Ray knows better than almost anyone what sort of wines you love. His new project, Bota Bota, is all about crafting bright, balanced, and brilliantly drinkable wines from old vines – which naturally yield fewer grapes but far more flavour.
-
Ray’s first wines come from the sun-soaked hills of Almonacid de la Sierra in northern Spain, where century-old Garnacha vines thrive in tough, stony soils. But the world is his oyster and this is just the beginning. After years finding wines for Angels, he’s thrilled to finally be making them for you. “This has been a long time coming but I am so excited to be able to share my very own wine with you all. Please let me know what you think – for better or worse!”
