A STORY OF FOND CHILDHOOD MEMORIES, WOODLANDS AND TINKERING… My name is Aaron Darke the founder of the Zymurgorium. I had the idea of setting it up after a long period brewing for my peers at university, I never started with kits I prefer to make my own or forage my own like my family has taught me; materials such as rose hips for wine & beer to damsons, sloes, elderflower, woodruff on and on and on because of my fascination with what nature has to offer us never ceases. Who knows I might be picking produce near you right now! My fascination and love of all things natural shows also in my products, I have a number of products from where I actually forage or grow the materials myself. A STORY OF CULTURE, SCIENCE AND REBELLION… My inspiration not only comes from nature but also of my love of culture, variation and science (which gives a clue as to the strange brand name). I aim to give my customers the best experience throughout the world whilst also hopefully educating (and perhaps being educated myself by my patrons!). So you'll see my products begin to evolve the more I learn about new ways of fermentation, preserving and creating flavour sensations, I will never put anything up which I have not tried myself so if you'd perhaps like me to try and make a new product then let me know guys!!! You'll notice that my range will be ever expanding this is because I wish to produce greater variation as I believe the world's variation and diversity of culinary experiences has waned in the past however recently there is now a renaissance in people wishing to know the origins of food and to experiment! Also these overwhelming blandness and underwhelmingly dull experiences in our world are public enemy number one. Rebelling against the status-quo, bringing out true quality and flavour from ingredients is what drove me to start experimenting all those years ago and is what keeps us ahead now in innovation and just plain awesomeness!
