In 2012 we had the slightly crazy idea that we would build our own micro-brewery. We'd been brewing some pretty fantastic beers at home for quite a while and thought it would be a good idea to share our eminently quaffable creations with the whole town. We rolled up our sleeves and, together with local craftsmen, built the brewery that we use today. After we switched the brewery on and produced the first drops of our delightfully delicious Yorkshire ale we were pleased to discover that the beer was a hit in the local pubs. Whitby Brewery ales can now be found around Whitby town and further afield at pubs and festivals around the country.
