We do this without compromise. We only use the finest ingredients, we take no short cuts and we have rigorous high standards. No beer leaves our gates that we're not 100% confident will be just right. Our beers are brewed with skill, patience and experience built up from our first brew in 1992. Since then we've earned a reputation for producing high quality, very drinkable beers, consistently. We're family owned and run, use local suppliers wherever possible and employ a great team of local people, many of whom have been with us for years. We are all passionate about beers and the service we provide to our customers.Weetwood Ales was established in 1992 by Adrian Slater and Roger Langford in a barn on Roger's farm in the tiny hamlet of Weetwood, close to Tarporley in Cheshire. They joined a small number of brewers taking up the fight to breathe life back into traditional, British cask ale. They brewed the first beers on a 5-barrel plant and they were an immediate hit with beer lovers and local pubs, with whom Weetwood's enduring reputation for consistency and quality was quickly built. Over time, demand grew, entirely through word-of-mouth, and the range was expanded. More and more brewing capacity was added, a talented team of people was built up and interest in beer exploded. In 2012 a much-needed bigger site became Weetwood's home, just down the road from the old barn. A fantastic new 30-barrel brewery was built on this site, giving Weetwood the ability to meet the growing demand for its beers and space to grow. In 2014, the founders took a well-deserved step back and new owners Phil McLaughlin and Laura Humby arrived. A family team, Phil and Laura bring passion, experience and enthusiasm to continue to produce and supply great beers. The founders remain involved along with most, if not all, of the original customers, still pulling consistent pints of Weetwood beers for drinkers who come back for another.

Why pay more?
Our Angels support independent winemakers by investing £25 a month into their Naked Wines account, to spend whenever they want - in return for discounts, freebies, exclusive wines and more.
Smart move - you've found the Sweet Spot
When it comes to wine, a small step in price = a HUGE leap in quality and taste.
By spending £8-£11 for a bottle of wine, you're actually getting more than DOUBLE the quality of wine than a £6-£7 bottle.
Here's how it works...
In your average £6-£7 wine most of the price goes on fixed costs like taxes, duty, bottling and transport... leaving fewer pennies for the wine itself.
But by spending just a pound or two more, the majority of those fixed costs stay the same, so more pennies are going straight into the stuff you can actually taste, creating a big leap in quality.
