With backgrounds as a magazine Editor (Michael) and a Marketing Consultant (Phil) we swapped the West End of London for the tranquillity of West Berkshire in January 2009 buying 40 idyllic acres. Our aim was to produce delicious foods with identifiable provenance, with a focus on rare breeds. With no farming experience it was a VERY steep learning curve.
