Started brewing in July 1996, based at White House Farm, Plumpton Green using a 1½ barrel brewplant. The brewery is run by Rev Godfrey Broster and was set up to provide a way of raising money towards the repair of three parish churches. By the end of 1996 the brewery had outgrown it location and moved to their present location during the early months of 1997. A 5 barrel brewplant is used at the new location. Stopped brewing during the second half of 2001 due to ill health. Restarted by May 2002. Brewing was again suspended in November 2004, but restarted in early March 2005. Beers Brewed We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Rectory Ales Ltd on the independent www.beermad.org.uk.
