What we do... Established early 2008 Artisan Brewery is based in a tiny brewery quarters in Pontcanna, Cardiff. We work tirelessly at creating the very best examples of some of the most unique and least known beer styles from all over the globe. It's fair to say, we make high quality beers not otherwise found in this neck of the woods. What we've done... Our first range of beers were released in 2008 as 'Bare Naked Beer'... unadulterated pure beers with absolutely no preservatives or additives used in their production. We now release this same ultra-premium worldly-styles to market under the name 'PIPES'. This, all due to an implication in naming rights that we fought but unfortunately lost... We re-branded as PIPES, and from then on the PIPES did flow... PIPES - Pure beers of true distinction... / CRAFT BEER CARDIFF Our styles include Helles Lager, Bohemian Pils, Bavarian Wheat, Vienna Red, Baltic Porter Espresso, American IPA, Midnight IPA, ALTbeer, Vienna Red Lager, Spiced Punk'n Ale, Chocolate Wheat and Belgian Triple, this to name but a few... With our little black book brimming with ad-hock and wonderfully refreshing recipes, things will never again be dull in the world of premium 'Welsh' craft beer. Beyond our main-stayers we aim to introduce 2 new specialty beers each month at our Brewery 'BAR OPEN' events. Pop down to our brewery courtyard and sample what's on offer each Saturday from noon till 7pm as we open for bottle sales each saturday. Pints are only available first Saturday each month. Keeping it real... Our tiny batch craft-beers speak volumes in terms of style distinction and flavour integrity. We strive for the highest quality product attainable. Only the finest ingredients are sourced for our unique batches. All our products are wholesome and natural with no filtration, pumps or pasteurisation brewed as nature intended... Keeping it local... Due to the living, non-chemically tampered nature of our beers we loan a relatively short shelf life of 2-3 months on most of our PIPES BEERS products. Our beers are not designed to travel great distances... All product is branded with a 'Best Before' date and released in optimal condition. Being great advocates of additive free, locally brewed craft beer we recommend drinking it sooner - brewery fresh-always best! Keeping it clean and green... We strive for a cleaner, greener world and use the most resource efficient processes and equipment whilst creating our products. Gravity and self-produced CO2 replace pumps, the human hand replaces machinery. And where possible, water is conserved and stored for use in general cleaning.

Why pay more?
Our Angels support independent winemakers by investing £25 a month into their Naked Wines account, to spend whenever they want - in return for discounts, freebies, exclusive wines and more.
Smart move - you've found the Sweet Spot
When it comes to wine, a small step in price = a HUGE leap in quality and taste.
By spending £8-£11 for a bottle of wine, you're actually getting more than DOUBLE the quality of wine than a £6-£7 bottle.
Here's how it works...
In your average £6-£7 wine most of the price goes on fixed costs like taxes, duty, bottling and transport... leaving fewer pennies for the wine itself.
But by spending just a pound or two more, the majority of those fixed costs stay the same, so more pennies are going straight into the stuff you can actually taste, creating a big leap in quality.
