Vincent and Marie Perrin's Story
"I settled here at Domaine Perrin with my wife Marie in 1987. Little by little, we acquired vineyards in different villages all close to each other; Volnay, Pommard, Meursaut, Monthélie, Saint Romain, and in 2000 we took over the family lands (my family has been in Volnay since 1445)!
We are now 3 generations working together: My father Michel, myself and our son Guillaume Alexandre, plus his two sisters, Marie Elisabeth and Marie Morgane.
Earth labouring, grass laying, respecting the seasons, checking that each vine stock has the right amount of grapes are tasks that bring us to a continuous labour. But this is something I love - to grow and maintain the soil, and we are fortunate to have very old vineyards with 70 years of Meursault which makes this wine really special and full of character. I hope you will all really love it!
