Made in honour of our great British beer heritage, our Imperial India Pale Ale has the characteristic high level of alcohol at 7.3% and uses a substantial amount of Columbus hops for bitterness and aroma.Moonrise, Monty's multi award winning moonrise, has picked up two gold stars at the prestigious 2015 Great Taste Awards, in 2013 Moonrise won a Great Taste gold star. These awards are based on the verdicts of top level judges and conducted as blind tests so they are a true reflection of a product's taste. Monty's has now won 11 gold stars, at the great taste awards, since Pam and the team started brewing in 2009.Masquerade, Monty's award winning Gluten Free golden bitter, has won a Bronze Medal at the International Beer Challenge, in the Speciality Beers section. This is a global competition and other winners included worldwide brands such as Samuel Adams and Estrella Damm. In addition to Masquerade's Gold SIBA award this goes to show, that even as a gluten free beer, it is establishing itself as premium pint that everyone can enjoy.Our regular cask brews are Sunshine, Mischief, MPA, Moonrise, Old Jailhouse & the gluten free Masquerade. These are firm favourites with our customers and between them they have won over 20 awards from SIBA, CAMRA and The Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards. Our seasonal brews include Buds Of May, Mojo, Desert Rats & Maple. These are available at special times throughout the year and have been created to reflect the various seasons. Match, our sporting session ale, is brewed throughout the year to coincide with sporting occasions. Hilltop & Midnight are available occasionally in cask, when we brew these beers for bottling. In the run up to Christmas we produce the very popular Ding Dong, which is a crisp, dry golden ale perfect for accompanying Christmas dinner and festive fun.
