Milltown is based on a simple principle. Quality. And to brew high quality, traditional beer, you need high quality ingredients. So, the malts that we use in our beers are sourced from the finest local maltsters, Fawcett's of Castleford. The malt range includes Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt, Crystal Malt, Munich Malt, Pale Chocolate Malt, Dark Chocolate Malt and Wheat Malt. Our pints can hold the heads high becuase we only use the best quality fresh vacuum packed, whole leaf hops from Charles Farams of Worcester. They include Challenger, Cascade, Progress, Mount Hood, Pioneer and Styrian Goldings. And finally, the most important ingredient of all: the finest water in the world - Yorkshire Water. True. Neil Moorhouse, the Head Brewer and owner of Milltown Brewing Company, has for many years pursued the opportunity to sample craft real ales from all over the country. "Tasting and sampling different styles of beer and seeing different brewing processes has enabled us to identify the type of beers we would like to produce. The result is a range of seriously good tasting beer which, just like our Brewery Tap, The Dusty Miller, is packed full with character". The Character behind the Beer

Smart move - you've found the Sweet Spot
When it comes to wine, a small step in price = a HUGE leap in quality and taste.
By spending £8-£11 for a bottle of wine, you're actually getting more than DOUBLE the quality of wine than a £6-£7 bottle.
Here's how it works...
In your average £6-£7 wine most of the price goes on fixed costs like taxes, duty, bottling and transport... leaving fewer pennies for the wine itself.
But by spending just a pound or two more, the majority of those fixed costs stay the same, so more pennies are going straight into the stuff you can actually taste, creating a big leap in quality.
