Loose Cannon Brewery started trading in July 2010. Will had been working toward this date from 2008 spending his time wisely developing beer recipes, the best equipment and methods to use and researching business premises in the area with room for growth.
Abingdon on Thames had an extensive history of brewing up to the closure of Morlands Brewery in 2000 and was clearly the right place to set-up. Centrally located with good transport links and above all else fantastic support from the local community Loose Cannon has not looked back since that first pint was poured in the Brewery Tap.
The craft beer market has seen an explosion in the last few years with the number of new breweries springing up. We can pride ourselves in being at the forefront of this new wave of brewing and we continue to strive to design new, creative and refreshing beers for our growing legion of followers to enjoy. Year on year we continue to grow and we wouldn't be doing this without your support. So keep it up you're all Loose Cannons like us.
