Phil Robins, father of two and husband to self proclaimed “Beer Widow” Lisa, created Longdog Brewery and started brewing commercially in Basingstoke, Hampshire, building on the rich history of brewing in the town during the 19th century. Longdog Brewery beers are all made from natural ingredients and reflect Phil's passion for well balanced beers designed to be refreshingly easy to drink. A core range of 4 ales is available year round giving a diversity of flavour from the sessionable Bunny Chaser to the light and hoppy Golden Poacher through the dependably traditional Brindle Bitter to the more complex Lamplight Porter. In addition to this, specials and seasonals are available throughout the year such as the Hare of the Dog mild available in April and May and the beautifully hoppy Kismet available in the summer.
