Welcome to hornbeambrewery.com. We are a small microbrewery in Manchester with an enviable reputation for producing great beers. The brewery was started in June 2007, but that's history. We look for opportunities to create new innovative beers, we produce a monthly Special every month, with innovation being placed front and centre during development. Not every monthly special is a roaring success but many have made their way into our bottle range, by being raved about. Beers like Dusseldorf Altbier, White swan, Champagne Ale, Lemon Blossom and Galaxy pale ale started life as monthly specials. We are a local supplier of cask beers around the brewery, and where Possible use local suppliers to obtain what we need to operate as a brewery. Kevin recently appeared on radio Manchester's business programme To talk about using the excellent local businesses that exists on the doorstep. The beers are now made by Anthony Lewis the brew master. Anthony started brewing at Hornbeam Brewery in 2010 and since then has not lost a single batch of beer. David Lauer will be joining the brewing team for 4 weeks in August. David helps run a community brewery in Germany. This will be his second visit and we hope to see some interesting beers during his visit.
