Frensham Brewery is owned and run by husband and wife team and Frensham residents Miles and Emily. The brewery was concieved organically from a long standing passion for real ale and its production, along with the desire to start a local countryside based boutique business, near to our home that could give something back to its surroundings, remain humble and traditional in its output as well as keeping 100% independent. Finding a site close to our home started in earnest in 2012. Being avid outdoor types, it somehow felt inevitable that the premises we needed for the business would be discovered whilst walking around our local countryside! We are in the heart of rural Surrey, south of the craft town of Farnham, tucked away on a working dairy farm in the village of Frensham. Pierrepont Home Farm lies on the banks of the River Wey, between National Trust heathland, (Frensham Common and Frensham Ponds) and Tankersford Common (RSPB) in an area of outstanding Natural Beauty. The brewery is situated in a restored 17th century barn, formerly an old dairy, in over 200 acres. Alongside pasture, the farm has wooded areas and a wet meadow next to the River Wey, which has been designated an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) because of its important flora. The farm was bequeathed to The Countryside Restoration Trust, who are a national charity that have several farms and properties across the UK. The CRT aims to restore, stimulate and create a living working countryside that encourages wildlife to flourish alongside modern farming. The tenant farmer and his family and team run the farm, assisted by CRT staff and volunteers. They all do a fantastic job in maintaining the farm, working hard at keeping the farm's wildlife flora and fauna, all monitored controlled and protected. The trust has been exceptionally supportive to us and we are ever thankful for the opportunity to run our business from such a beautiful location. The CRT is active at putting it's ethos into practice and is a force for good. To add back to an area once historically renowned for it's hop growing brings a great sense of pride to us. We are sensitive to the nature of our location and work symbiotically with the farm. Respecting and looking after the local land and wildlife is central to our work. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products, as well as utilizing steam cleaning to save on water consumption. Our organic waste products are recycled, with spent malt, yeast and hops all passed on to the farm and also used as a nutritious addition to the resident pedigree Jersey cattle herd's feed. We also hope to work alongside the CRT and help feed the various bird inhabitants with some of our spent grains, particularly during the winter months, as the RSPB nature reserve are our neighbours! We hope to trial various systems in the future in order to create a 100% recycled environment.

Why pay more?
Our Angels support independent winemakers by investing £25 a month into their Naked Wines account, to spend whenever they want - in return for discounts, freebies, exclusive wines and more.
Smart move - you've found the Sweet Spot
When it comes to wine, a small step in price = a HUGE leap in quality and taste.
By spending £8-£11 for a bottle of wine, you're actually getting more than DOUBLE the quality of wine than a £6-£7 bottle.
Here's how it works...
In your average £6-£7 wine most of the price goes on fixed costs like taxes, duty, bottling and transport... leaving fewer pennies for the wine itself.
But by spending just a pound or two more, the majority of those fixed costs stay the same, so more pennies are going straight into the stuff you can actually taste, creating a big leap in quality.
