Obvious from day one
I grew up with my grandparents among the vineyards, so choosing a winemaking career was a total no-brainer for me. I lived and breathed the rows as a kid, but I knew I wanted to bring something modern to the table too. That is why I pursued my academic education, learning how to take those traditional Italian roots and combine them with an international concept of quality.
Simplicity, scale and care for details
Today, I have the privilege of steering a mighty winery backed by a near century-old grower network going all the way back to 1928. Managing an operation of this size requires an approach built on simplicity, efficiency, and a strict care for details. Working alongside my fantastic colleagues, we combine our production expertise with the enhancement of our territory, ensuring our wines stand as a true expression of the land they come from while remaining accessible to everyone.
The crucial spark (and the hills)
If you are looking for me during harvest, I will be in the cellar. My absolute favorite part of the entire process is the fermentation – it is the most crucial, make-or-break moment where the juice officially transforms into wine. It takes intense focus, so when I need to clear my head, I love to go biking on the local hills. I am a highly active person, and I love when I can use my energy to be helpful to the people I care about.

But keeping you happy means staying one step ahead. I already have big plans for the future, including a dream to build a cutting-edge, in-house structure for de-alcoholisation right here at the winery. Your support gives us the freedom to look to the future, and I cannot wait to create magnificent new wines that truly excite the Angels for the next few years.
