After 30 years of home brewing as a hobby, I decided that I would like to share my beer with others, as a retirement project. I decided to start by buying a new 1 barrel brewery from Elite Fabrications in Swindon. Chapel Brewery is probably the smallest commercial brewery there is, but because of this, I can concentrate more on producing more quality, flavorsome ales than larger breweries can. We are a rural brewery based in North Shropshire, using redundant farm buildings. I particularly enjoy brewing contemporary ales using new world hops. I try to keep my pub outlets within 23 miles of the brewery and can then call my beer CAMRA LocAle. My beer is on sale quite regularly from these pubs.
