Mulberry Duck

Bitter ABV 3.60%

Press Release - 5th November 2012 Remember Remember the 5th of November - Normally you would find local Fireworks legend Alastair Wray up to his elbows in mud for November 5th. This year he is up to his elbows in hops and grains as his new real ale microbrewery “The Mulberry Duck” stirs into life. The Mulberry Duck was born from a love of real ale and craft beer and after years of successful home brewing Alastair found a redundant milking parlour locally and purchased a three and a half barrel brewery to “up the game” The Mulberry Duck will be brewing real ale for local outlets and private orders from individuals who would like their own beer at home - as they put it “Made to order brewed to remember” Beginning with a golden light ale about (3.6% alcohol) and an amber bitter (4.1%) he is also now taking orders for the “Drake's Progress” a stronger dark winter ale recipe and a firm favourite with Alastair's beer fans. Alastair has lived in the Hereford area for 20 years - He is well known for his Pyrotechnical abilities having been responsible for many shows locally and internationally including The Ludlow Festival Finale every year. He is an engineer by trade working on projects from Top Gear Live to Physiotherapy equipment for people with spinal injuries. But he has always loved beer making (and beer!) hence The Mulberry Duck.
