Tipper Ale

Harveys Brewery

Bitter ABV 5.00%

Brewed as part of County Town Hop by our County Town Beers Microbrewery. Thomas Tipper brewed at the Bridge Inn Newhaven. It is said that the brackish water created a style of beer that earned him national acclaim. The Prince Regent (later George IV) was a devotee and the beer is mentioned in Dickens' Martin Chuzzlewit. It is brewed entirely with lightly roasted malts and traditional aroma hops.
