As the name suggests this is a very dark red hued beer. Classed as a strong Mild with a deceptively smooth chocolaty taste. Made from Pale Crystal and Chocolate malts with torrefied wheat. Single hopped with Progress hops and late hopped with Northdown for aroma. 30 EBU. A deep smokey taste with chocolate overtones.
