About the wine
A juicy Grenache from one of Rhone's most sought-after winemakers
- Gentle, sunny slopes, cool evenings and good quality soil types all worked in harmony to produce some seriously stunning grapes. Denis Crespo even selected a few from each parcel to examined under a microscope, making sure they were in top-notch condition.
- Denis is on a mission to produce approachable, fruity wines that everybody can enjoy, and he's certainly hit the nail on the head with this drop. It's vibrant, brimming with sweet jammy red fruits and a hint of black fruit and a sprinkle of liquorice. It's deliciously juicy, full and ripe with a long, silky smooth finish.
- It's no wonder Denis is one of Rhone's most sought after winemakers. He consistently produces mouthwatering blends like this one, with so much depth and roundness, we'd forgive you for thinking that you're drinking a wine twice its price.

Meet the winemaker - Denis Crespo
- In 2015, a popular winery in the area was in a spot of bother and in need of a helping hand. Denis took up the job of winemaker and turned their old school French winery into a modern business and is already producing some spectacular wines.
- For what he has achieved, he is a very humble man who likes nothing better than a delicious meal with his family and covering some serious distance on his bike. His dream is simply to make fruity, juicy, easy-drinking wines that everyone can enjoy and he is so happy to share them with Angels.
- He was never going to be kept a secret for long and the big dogs of the industry are already cosying up to him with pleading puppy eyes. Trust us, this is just the beginning for Denis and we couldn’t be more excited!
