A well-known and respected local building firm the Crumbleholme's family have been living in Dorset since the 1840's but we have traced their ancestry back to Northern Lancashire a place renowned for its important coalfields and part in the industrial revolution. In memory of the Crumbleholmes that would have appeared home at tea time with black faces straight from the coalfields we have named our ‘black stout' in their honour.
